Once in a Red moon, A blood red moon means that the moon is in total shadow.
Blood Moons During a Total Lunar Eclipse, the full moon turns into a coppery red while passing into the Earth's shadow. During this process, the moon's glow dims, taking on a red hue due to the shimmer of sunlight seeping through Earth's atmosphere.
As more of the moon emerges from this shadow, the red hue will fade as it gets lighter and turns back to its normal color which is silver. This usually last for about an hour.
If you missed the Red moon, there would be more opportunites between now and September of next year. In addition to the last occurence, the Red moon will appear on October 8 of this year, and April 4 and September of next year all of this will happen in North America.
If you still missed those, then you'll have to wait till the year 2032.
